Who should come to the Hamburg Conference?
The Conference is of particular interest to Rectors, Vice-rectors, Heads of Administration, Directors of Finance, Heads of funding agencies and ministerial departments dealing with funding issues.
How to register?
The above mentioned persons, as well as partner organisations were invited to register on the EUA website on the 15 December 2005. To register, log in on the EUA website with your username and password; under “Invitations”, click on “Hamburg Conference” and follow the instructions. If you have forgotten your password, please click here. You can register until 10 February 2006 with the early bird registration fee. Other interested delegates who have not yet received an invitation to register should send a request to the following E-mail address: email@example.com
Who can I contact after I have registered?
Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH, the congress agency in Hamburg, will handle the bookings and payments for the registration fee, hotels, social prgramme and excursions. Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH will send you a confirmation of registration email with a fax-back payment form when you have registered and any other practical information thereafter. Please note that Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH is unable to guarantee your registration and any bookings without your payment details.
Registration fees are charged by the host institution in Hamburg
Registration fee BEFORE 10 February 2006
EUA members: 450 Euro (includes participation in the Conference and social programme for delegates)
Non-members: 490 Euro (includes participation in the Conference and social programme for delegates)
Companions: 180 Euro (includes participation in the social programme for companions)
Registration fee AFTER 10 February 2006
EUA members: 520 Euro (includes participation in the Conference and social programme for delegates)
Non-members: 560 Euro (includes participation in the Conference and social programme for delegates)
Companions: 230 Euro (includes participation in the social programme for companions)
All payments must be made in EURO by credit card or bank transfer. It is unfortunately not possible to pay by bank cheques or euro cheques. Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH will send you a payment form to return by fax once you have registered in order to:
- process the payment for your registration fee
- guarantee your accommodation booking by providing a valid credit card number (your card will not be debited)
All bank charges incurred have to be covered by the delegate.
Cancellations or changes must be sent in wriring to Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH by E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or Fax: +49 40 42838 2011.
Cancellation of the Registration Fee
Cancellations must be sent in writing to Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH. If a cancellation is received before 27 February 2006, the registration fee minus an administration charge of 50 Euro will be refunded after the Conference. If cancellation is received after 27 February 2006 and/or the participant fails to attend, the entire registration fee has to be paid. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that Universitaet Hamburg Marketing GmbH is informed of the change.
Cancellation of Accommodation booking
Cancellation of hotel reservation, or change of arrival/departure date, must be made 48 hrs prior to the booked arrival date at the latest, to Universität Hamburg Marketing GmbH. If you cancel your hotel booking after this time, or do not arrive for the first night of your booking, the hotel reserves the right to charge you the first night of your booking with the credit card you used to guarantee the room.
